Unfortunately, EDI Photography’s photographs have been previously used for commercial purposes without permission of the photographer or the models. Photographs are watermarked to help prevent unauthorized use and to protect the image of those featured in the photographs. Photographs given to clients and photographs licensed for use are governed by our terms and conditions of sale but are not watermarked.

Photographs on ediphoto.com are low-resolution photographs. Low-resolution photographs may not look as crisp as high-resolution photographs but, by using low-resolutions, photograph file sizes are 10-15 times smaller than they otherwise would be. That means that site navigation is faster and visitors of the site can view more photographs in less time. Photographs in the EDI photo collections are of slightly higher resolutions.

Our rates are based on the specifics of each job. We also offer substantial discounts to selected non-profit organizations and students participating in our special projects. The best way to obtain an accurate price quote is to submit an online request via the EDI Photography Request Form.

EDI Photography offers packages for individuals, families, and businesses. In addition to photography, printed products, event promotions, invitations, and a host of other options are available as packages from our strategic business partners.

New photographs are added several times a month unless a special project requires additional time and attention that would normally be used to develop and add to the site. EDI offers photo newsletters (by email) and RSS feeds to announce when new items are added to the site.

Most clients are given private access to a personalized login page to review and approve photographs taken by EDI. On some occassions, photographs are also added to the main site or to the digital photo galleries (usually two to three weeks after the event has concluded). When photographs are uploaded for public viewing, they are watermarked and uploaded at low resolution to prevent unauthorized use. Clients may request that photographs not be uploaded.

EDI Photography is working to create and maintain a permanent archive of all photographs taken by EDI photographers. This does not, however, mean that the photographs will be available for purchase or review indefinitely. Clients are encouraged to submit all requests for photographs within six months following the event. EDI generally guarantees that photographs will be available for at least one full calendar year following the event. EDI will perpetually renew copyrights on all photographs regardless of their availability for review or purchase.

Some, though not all, of the photographs on the site are available for purchase by private parties. Some may be purchased directly from the EDI photo galleries; others can be purchased only by intitiating a request by phone or via the contact form. All photograph purchases are governed by the EDI terms and conditions of sale.
